Steps on how to use a Multi-tester
Step 1: Connect the red test probe to (+) jack and the black test probe to the (–) common jack;
Step 2: Switch the Range Selector to ohm range part;
Step 3: Calibrate the test probe by putting the tip of the
(-) probe cover the (+) probe;
Step 4: Check if the pointer rest exactly at zero
position or infinite position at the scale; and
Step 5: Put the probes into the electric component that
you need to measure; and
Step 6: Read the result on the scale.
